Easy Chocolate Ice Cream (tasteofhome.com)
Use your blender to thoroughly combine the cocoa into the cream.
Be sure to stir in the whipping cream by hand.
Ingredients;
2 cups half-and-half cream
1-1/2 cups sugar
½ cup baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups whipping cream
Directions;
Combine half-and-half, sugar, cocoa and vanilla in a blender; cover and process on low until smooth.
Stir in whipping cream.
Freeze in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Allow to ripen in ice cream freezer or firm up in your refrigerator freezer 2-4 hours before serving.

Butter Pecan Ice Cream (tasteofhome.com)
The toasted nuts in this recipe are a little sweet and very crunchy because of the added sugar in the first step.
Ingredients;
¾ cup chopped pecans
3 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
1 tablespoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
ICE CREAM;
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup maple-flavored syrup
2-1/2 cups milk
1 cup whipping cream
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions;
On a baking sheet, combine pecans, butter, sugar, and salt; spread into a single layer.
Bake at 350◦ for 15 minutes. Stir and bake 15 minutes longer. Cool.
For ice cream, combine sugars, cornstarch, eggs and syrup in a double boiler.
Gradually add milk. Cook over boiling water until mixture thickens.
Remove from the heat; chill for several hours or overnight.
Stir in nuts, cream and vanilla.
Place in ice cream freezer, and freeze according to manufacturer’ instructions.
Allow to ripen in ice cream freezer or firm up in your refrigerator freezer 2-4 hours before serving.
Serving Size Around 2 quarts.
Vanilla Ice Cream (tasteofhome.com)
For raspberry or strawberry ice cream, substitute 2 cups fresh or frozen berries for 1 cup half-and half cream. Puree in a blender or food processor and add to the other ingredients before freezing.
Ingredients;
2 cups whipping cream
2 cups half-and-half cream
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions;
In a bowl, combine all ingredients; stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Freeze in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Allow to ripen in ice cream freezer or firm up in your refrigerator freezer 2-4 hours before serving.
Serving Size Around 1-1/2 quarts.
